| JINJA CITY STRATEGIC PLAN FOR STATISTICS FOR FY 2025/2026 TO FY 2029/2030 | Permeable for the Strategic Plan for Statistics The importance of statistics in informing planning and monitoring of government programs cannot be over emphasized. We need to know where we are, determine where we want to reach and know whether we have reached there. The monitoring of socio-economic progress is not possible without measuring progress and establishing whether human, financial and other resources are being used efficiently. The development of a City–based Strategic Plan for Statistics is intended to provide City tailored statistics and will reflect the peculiar nature of the City by looking at specific areas in the stated statistics direction, which would not be possible to provide at a higher level.

| JINJA CITY INTEGRATED PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN 2022-2032. | EXECUTIVE SUMMARY. Jinja City is one of the newly created cities and it is located 80km East of Kampala, the capital city of Uganda. Uganda’s vision 2040 spells out Jinja as a strategic industrial city. The Jinja City Physical Development Plan provides a framework for ensuring orderly development in the city. Ministry of Lands, Housing and Urban Development together with Jinja City spearheaded the preparation of the Physical Development Plan with support from the World Bank through the Uganda Support to Municipal Infrastructure Development (USMID) Program. Attached is the JINJA CITY INTEGRATED PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN 2022-2032. |
